New Mexico's Immigrant Safety Act passed! This bans local authorities from making any deals with ICE. No running ops at ICE detention centers; no leasing them land or buildings; no deals between local law enforcement and ICE. Here's what Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has to say.

ICE officials said he ran into a wall, which doctors immediately rejected as inconsistent with the wounds. The immigrant's account - that he was beaten in the head by steel batons, contrary to DHS guidelines - is more plausible. But no accountability exists for him, or us.

ICE has grabbed so many people from their vehicles that there are abandoned cars across Minnesota.

This tow truck driver returns the cars for free as a public service, and he’s been getting death threats.

They hate the helpers.

Which is why must keep helping.

Very cool article. They found evidence of fire creation in a 400,000-year-old site in Suffolk probably inhabited by Neanderthals (probably not Homo sapiens, who either were all still in Africa or didn’t quite exist yet?), 350,000 years earlier than known evidence of modern humans making fire
Humans mastered the art of creating fire 400,000 years ago, almost 350,000 years earlier than previously known, according to a groundbreaking discovery in a field in Suffolk in the UK. buff.ly/1miYEUJ
