The most memorable thing about THE SHADOW is Taylor Dayne’s “Original Sin” cover. It’s pretty, pretty good.

They’re probably thinking of Alec Baldwin and THE SHADOW, which was NOT a hit but very similar.

IIRC we had Dick Tracy Happy Meals? And the Madonna role was hugely hyped. They marketed the crap out of that thing.

Hi Sally. When Weiss published a supposed expose on the death of George Floyd, a veteran criminal justice reporter showed in deep detail that the piece was not just wrong but filled with falsehoods and misrepresentations. Weiss did not retract the piece. What do you think of that?

I just listened to @trufelman.bsky.social’s excellent Articles of Interest episode on Catholic regalia and that’s how I know Fr Dowling is wearing a most sacred and holy poncho, aka the chasuble (also: not the Roman chasuble!).

Got my second shingles shot Friday. Surprising no one I feel like garbage today.

Pneumonia vaccine is next in the pipe and I guess I need to pick a weekend when I want to feel like couch crashing because my body is highly protective of its organs and white blood sells, APPARENTLY.

Being vocal in politics *clearly* isn't a problem. There are female reps who do it all the time.

But DC is built on relationships, and KP has clearly has issues with relationship building, and it sounds like it's because she's horrible to work with.

Okay, I really don’t want to keep talking about this, since frankly - I hate KP. She’s an example of toxic management, and I saw what she did to my friends.

But I’m really disturbed by the number of women, specifically white women on Threads and on here, justifying her cursing at staff.
