Just putting this out there because young people need models of ethical leadership on social issues, and this is one way you can guide them towards critiquing the tech-industrial complex while also not being condescending to them about your "rules."

Do you tell them why? Do it!

I tell them:

🧠"AI" is bad for your intellectual development

🫂"AI" is bad for our communities

🌍"AI" is bad for our earth

I frequently say you don't need to protest. You don't! There are a thousand other ways to push back on fascism if protesting doesn't feel comfortable or safe for you!
