One of my Aunts is left handed and my Grandma found out the teachers were tying her left arm behind her back and forcing her to write with her right hand. She walked down to the school and bitched them out so bad it never happened again. We have a lot of lefties in the fam, all women too.

Fun fact: Until around 100 years ago "only" 2-3% of people said they were left-handed.

Today it's around 10-12%.

It's not because babies suddenly became 4x more likely to be left handed, it's because TEACHERS STOPPED SMACKING US WITH A HICKORY STICK & FORCING US TO WRITE WITH OUR RIGHT HANDS.

I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.
