Elon would like everyone to use roman numerals, to go along with his roman salute.... 😏
when I was young, i used to wonder how people like this would fare in life, as they didn't seem suited for gainful employment. it turns out, the internet allowed them to accumulate a massive audience of similar idiots, enriching them and turning them into a presidential advisor

Yeah. Fair enough

Your boundary is at hue 186, bluer than 97% of the population. For you, turquoise is green.

Today I started the day heading to Muriwai for some super friendly surfing. Then spent most of the work day at Coastlab Orewa, amazing place. And tonight we will check the beach for potential bioluminescence algae at Stanmore Bay

Can’t beat Aotearoa on a nice spring day

Everyone expects the Govt to help them if required, but I think the political parties in NZ can be categorized by how their voters want the Govt to help others:
Nat: not unemployed
NZF: not immigrants
ACT: not poor
Labour: everyone but not too much
Green/TPM: everyone

Feels a bit trashy to self promote but if you are looking at the govts announcements and are wanting to learn NZ history that isn’t beholden to the whims of whoever happens to be in the Beehive, I do a podcast that might help with that

A heads up: this weather pattern is likely to keep coming through in waves for at least the next few weeks. It's an amplification of normal spring "roaring forties" weather, due to a warming event a few weeks ago in Antarctica.

Well... that was a good game for me #chess

I think I played solid, recognised the opponent's mistakes, and took advantage of them

Very happy with it

#nzpol. We don't have the money, we gave you $12 a week tax break, and me an extra $340 a week. Ohh, yea, we also gave $2.9 billion to landlords (hey, that is me also, woohoo), and $300 million tax break for tobacco companies. But we just don't have the money for teachers and medical staff, sorry.
