That's not a "fake debt collecting business," that's a "debt holding business." The difference is negligible but the former implies someone committed fraud. He didn't. His business has the right to hold whatever debts it purchases and may act or not on those debts for whatever reason it chooses.
The actor Michael Sheen used all his money to start a fake debt collecting business, buy 900 people in Wales's debt, and excused it. If Musk bought ALL $194 billion in medical debt in the U.S. and excused it in the same way, he'd still be the world's riches man by hundreds of billions of dollars.

"buying music is expensive but i wanna support artists and spotify is the only option for that" i have a tip for you:
pirate all the music you want. all of it. no matter how much. set aside each month a spotify subscription's worth of money and use that to buy something off of bandcamp or itunes.

When those who hate trans people win - or pretend to win, cf Sandie Peggie - it's all over the media, even if it's just a tribunal decision. But when they lose, even in the Court of Appeal, it's absolute bloody tumbleweed. So here's our blog about Allison Bailey latest loss. goodlaw.social/3uyd
Allison Bailey loses her case against Stonewall – again
Court of Appeal finds that Stonewall did not cause discrimination against ‘gender critical’ barrister Allison Bailey.

Those who pathologize and illegalise us most also desire us most

Talk dark

Watch very carefully those who scream loudest against us

Their mania, their glares, those who pathologise and punishment of for existing... those are the perverted ones

We're trying to live

They want to fuck and control

THIS!

This is the analysis we needed

Yes it could have been worse, but it's *not* good

Being trans isn't a mental illness but they are increasing the requirement for senior clinical psycho/psychia assessment?

The removal of self-referral so it can only go through often transphobic doctors?

No
It is a sign of how fundamentally abused and traumatised trans communities are in the UK that many folks are responding to Levy with relief and cautious welcome.

It could have been a lot worse.

But it fundamentally fails to deliver meaningful improvements to trans healthcare. 1/4

It is utterly impossible to have discourse, conversation, or discussion with someone who deeply and passionately sees the mere existence of trans women as sexual abuse.

Someone who sees trans women as *by their nature* simply perverted rapists whos only goal is invasion, harassment, and abuse

1/
Remember when Venice Allen proudly posted a video of herself haranguing the WOMEN at the Kenwood Pond meeting because they DIDN’T agree with her transphobia, and voted down the trans-exclusionary motion.

‘Gender critical’ transphobes resort to legal bullying when they don’t get their own way! 😖

To be clear, when social and medical systems and processes work well - when people aren't neglected or paupered into ill-health, that they aren't exacerbated into worse health that becomes terminal - if that is fixed, then I support assisted dying

As it stands though NO! No one should support it!
We need to assist this bill to die.

It is fundamentally wrong to have a bill 'assisting dying' when our health, medical, and social supports are constantly cut, and drive ever increasing numbers - especially disabled people - into poverty, worsening health, and early deaths.

This is a really good article! Disconnections, whether accidental or deliberate, have such a negative effect on our waterways.

I'd often wondered about that atrip through Lordship Park. Did not realise it arose so far away!
What if Thames Water aren’t always the baddies when it comes to sewage in London rivers? It’s hard to comprehend, so in April I challenged @rachel-rees.bsky.social to find a single example of a misconnection and chase it to the Thames. It became an epic quest: www.londoncentric.media/p/misconnect...

They never stop.

Given them an inch, they'll take away your body autonomy.
