If any journalist wants to talk to a trans man with a PhD in Human Genomics who was trained in labs that studied the evolution of sex, I'm right here

Or just keep platforming Republicans who have a 5th grade understanding of biology so they get more trans people killed, sure 🤷🏻‍♂️

NEW from me on @gamedeveloper.bsky.social: I wasn’t going to write about the Larian AI backlash. Then I woke up at 5:30 this morning with a whole dang blog in my head.

How can you know if your workers are “okay” with using genAI tools if you have so much power over them should they push back?

NEW: They kept saying they were gonna do it and now they've done it

A group of clowns (Senators) have introduced a bill to FULLY REPEAL Section 230.

No reform, no replacement, just utter destruction of all online free speech.

We can't let this happen. Share & take action

Considering how much evidence and peer reviewed studies there are at this point that show video games don't cause shootings it's funny they keep dusting off this tired theory to see if it lands

The extreme attack on transgender youth we are witnessing from a governmental stage was enabled by The Atlantic and The New York Times.

Renovations led to me no longer playing games and watching TV from my bed, which is overall a net positive for all activities and sleep.

In exchange, I never got my other Metroid tee from Yetee because I haven't checked my mail in a month.

Guess I'm making a trip to the post office.

Please do not purchase Luck be a Landlord on Xbox. I will be making a $10,000 donation to The Palestine Children's Relief Fund to (hopefully) help offset the revenue the game has generated for Microsoft.

This is possibly the most significant attack on trans rights in this country yet, and I can count the number of posts on my timeline about this on my hands.

If you're trying to dismiss this thinking "It'll die in the senate," DON'T! Sound the alarms now!
Bluesky tonight is neatly divided between trans people and family members appropriately angry and freaking out and everyone else who has barely noticed.

- tried to make that money back by ruining the best product it now owned

cis people on the skyline are genuinely more distressed by karoline leavitt’s lip fillers than the fact that congress just said, “what we should do is put any doctor or pharmacist in prison who gives lifesaving medical care to this specific kind of child we find gross.”

Though I do tire of folks inserting their Alien fandom into Metroid, I can appreciate that Myles McKenzie looks like Rick Moranis, because that means when he meets Samus, we're now referencing Ghostbusters, too.

Samus is technically Sigourney Weaver (even if, yes, she's modeled after Kim Basinger).

Shameful.
Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.

I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.
