I think 2026 has to be a back to basics year where I explicitly skip dreck and only engage with weird and experimental art.

I've been reading a lot of cromulent genre fiction and I can see how people get addicted to reading garbage as a hobby.
Though from there it's only a quick hop to the Wendig and Gaiman-type "ooh I'm so smart because I READ" trap.

Yesterday was a crazy day for sicko games. Demonschool came out (and is great), but also Birdcage (the best Radiant Silvergun-like since Radiant Silvergun), and Sektori -- the Tetris Effect of Geometry Wars.
