Started Njord for #warcrow. Following the studio scheme but using the tattoos, simplified, from the concept art.

A Bushwacker BSW-X1 of the Federated Suns' 1st Armored Cav, standing proudly over a fresh kill from Clan Smoke Jaguar's Omega Galaxy.

(I've got 5 more minis from this batch to process photos for but this is easily the best)

My Aeldari models are MUCH quicker to paint so I'll definitely be trying to get them ready for the Christmas trip. Also, check out these 3 Spirit Seers! They've got starry little butts! #aeldari #nerdlings #warhammercommunity #eldar #40k

It being Spooky Season, I couldn't resist necromancing up the base by 50%.

I've seen a lot of comments asking why GW would release a set of mostly bare heads. Now you know. Sucks that they had to sneak them in, but I'm glad they exist anyway

I got to paint Adam Steiner's Axman for a friend! I'm particularly proud of the basing: it's inspired by Southern California's chaparral. #battletech #mechwarrior #miniatures

Under painting isn't a new concept for mini painters or painters in general. It's just not one I've used often. I figured I'd give it a shot. Under painted this old Wood Elf King from Reaper Minis in brown black and dark camo green. I was going for an autumnal color scheme.

I wanted to try the grimdark superglue painting method, so I did this practice mini. It's a pretty decent effect, but you have to have a very bright light base coat, preferably white. Any darker shade of basecoat will diminish the effect big time.

There's not enough people posting about actual mechs they've actually painted on here so here's a Davian Lance I painted recently. This scheme looks particularly good on the Atlas. #battletech #mechwarrior #minipainting #tabletopgaming

Had fun reposing and kitbashing this Grizzly 2. Painted primer gray with some rust spots, it's the first mini in my custom merc unit: the Gray Ghosts.
It looks like a pretty mean brawler, can't wait to use it at the table.

#miniaturepainting a #battletech Steiner scout squad. Went real hard on a new technique painting every panel individually. Didn't quite nail it and increased my time to complete from 1-2 days to a solid week. Still, have to admit it's striking and I got a lot of contrast out of it!
