I’m sometimes asked about the decals I use on my #BattleTech minis. Of course FightingPirannahGraphics for faction insignia, and occasionally some GamesWorkshop or scale model (plane) ones. I also use a lot of decal sheets you can buy to detail mechs/GunPla. Here are some of my recommendations:

Two sets of Vertex sheets I buy at YodobashiCamera. Cheap and have dozens of decals on with both unreadable text and things like ‘Caution’, ‘Hot Surface’, ‘Beware of blast’ and the like. Absolutely excellent sets.

Do wait for the mid-credits scene though, Hish.
There are some really nice nods to the earlier Tron movies, and we really enjoyed the spectacle. But if you go in with expectations lowered, you’ll enjoy it more.

We watched #Tron:Ares today. The visuals and sound were amazing. The story…alright. Not bad, but nothing groundbreaking…which is, I guess, par for the course for Tron😆
Certain characters not being in the movie was a bit of a disappointment.
I do hope for more Tron.

The main characters are the brothers Takeda Tesuo and Ito Tesuo. ‘Takeda’ and ‘Ito’ are very common family names, not first names. ‘Tesuo’ is neither. ‘Tetsuo’ could be a first name.
It’s like having two brothers: Smith Harry and Jones Harry.😵‍💫

I really enjoyed reading 「Fall down seven times…」, about the Dracs stealing Mech tech. Interesting that it’s a time when VonRohrs rather than Kurita is heading the Combine. I read it as I’d heard DEST is in it, and wasn’t disappointed. Buuuut there was one thing that niggled…

Like its Nightstar Lance mate, Wolf Hunter 「狼狩り」was taken as salvage, though this time from the Wolf’s Dragoons. The #DraconisCombine saw it as fitting that a ‘Shogun’ mech make its way into the hands of true samurai warriors.

Thank you. The weathering on the red is just a bit of Rhinox Hide sponged on. On the feet I painted on some very watered-down paint the same colour as the basing, letting it dry in the crevices.
