There is always a next mini to paint and there is always something that can be fixed or neatened or improved on the mini I am painting.

I would rather have 2 minis with small mistakes than 1 perfect mini.

One of my core tenents of painting models is not going back to fix mistakes.

When I am done part of a model it is done and I don't go back if I notice an issue. Even minor paint splotches from other areas don't matter.

I have to say: I really enjoy giving demos for Infinity. It's not something I have to do in order to get "real" games later. I genuinely enjoy playing the demo and teaching the game I love.

This is a hard thing to do and police. No guarantee it will work.

During a customer feedback thing with Ben from MMF on Monday, I was interested in MMF's approach to AI. I was concerned that they'd chase short term gains/investment from AI generated content and we'd soon be awash in 7 fingered Sporce Muranes. He could only say, "Watch this space."

You can. In the tournament click on the list icon and then send lists. I removed and re-added a list to demonstrate.

Exactly this. I am now an Infinity focused player but I used to play games like Star Wars Legion. I like the unit cards - they do add something to the gameplay - but they become a massive pain once errata hits, much less edition changes.

I wasn't sure where I was going to start on the next Varank's skin, or continue with the current model until I sat down to paint and really wanted to finish a model rather than slowly creeping through three.

This seems to be a feature of all Gundam shows. It starts off with mostly fun mobile suit fighting and then starts exploring how terrible war is and the effects on the people waging it.

If you look to gundam for only the first part you are going to have a bad time.

I don't beat myself up about whether I make my goal. I feel really happy when I do, and knowing I feel that way helps motivate me.
If I don't make it, and it's my own fault, it helps me remember how much time can slip away while procrastinating and watching TV.
