I was never a big Biden person, but I think if and when he meets his maker it'll go fine. There's a reason he doesn't worry about it. I never thought Trump believed in anything but he apparently does enough to know it will not go fine

I do. I do know that. I think ICE is bad but anyone genuinely responsible for other people would at least consider making that bad choice if it came down to it.

I know, but it's depressing. What's worse is if you have kids and joining ICE isthe only way you're aware of to get them good shoes and health care. Like I would do it under those circumstances.

I just have 3 picky eaters/otherwise healthy children, and anyone who can make a child eat should be allowed to do that thing. A child with cancer, triply so.

Every day at noon, no matter how busy, Johny Merida Aguilar left his construction job and hurried to his 5-year-old son's school to feed him. His son has brain cancer and generally only accepts food from his father.

Merida Aguilar was arrested by ICE in September and faces deportation to Bolivia.

The IRS is laying off people during the shutdown, even though it was rehiring staff it previously fired because it was so shorthanded.
This one stands out because firing IRS employees costs the government money, since they bring in about $6-8 for every dollar spent on tax enforcement

Treasury Department: Treasury cut 1,446 employees on Friday. Two Internal Revenue Service employees confirmed layoffs were taking place at the tax agency, which has already shed more than 25,000 employees. One employee who was laid off was working Friday and exempt from shutdown furloughs.

Firing a good chunk of the staff who put that together is essentially blinding the country on public health. Trump has hated it since 2020 because they published stuff (the truth) contrary to what he was saying
