I would write novels and short stories and poems and essays and I would keep writing them and keep submitting them until I got published and I would keep publishing them until I had a real career as a writer. and then I'd keep writing them.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

It's wild that in my lifetime things went from you just had to know I guess intuitively where to go on the web to a categorised index of sites to a pretty good search with useful summaries to one filled with blathering nonsense for clicks to a lying robot that makes shit up while burning the Amazon.

Everyone is getting upset about the data centers. They pollute a lot and use a lot of energy and will eventually be very ugly/huge vacant buildings. And I understand being mad about that. Until you consider the state of the lazer tag industry at this moment, and how much help that sector needs.

I could live my life as a disabled person without the constant fear a biased review could cost me my only source of income. Without that anxiety, I would have the energy to care for myself properly, and maybe give a little back to my community too.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

I’ve long wanted to start a worker owned cooperative designing and manufacturing pinball machines, and also serving as a sort of maker space for people with a machine they want to build. I’ve given up under the current circumstances but I think UBI could make it possible.
