There is no national security logic that would impel the US to want to do regime change in Venezuela. It's simply not that important. I'm not even sure wag the dog is the right metaphor for what's happening here. Seems like an insane misallocation of US national security assets and attention.

One of the group chats I’m in is convinced that the tell a man is normal and well adjusted in 2025 is if he owns and uses a toilet brush, and this started as a bit but at this point I’m basically convinced that it’s true
My sense is that the “male loneliness crisis” is not really about addressing men’s emotional needs but rather the relatively newfound absence of having someone to perform domestic labor for you quietly in the background now that there is a longer gap between your mother and your wife doing it
