AOC: You're damn right that it's a Democratic priority to keep people from getting poisoned, from dangerous chemicals

You're damn right that it's a Democratic priority to bring down the cost of housing

If they want to say that that's a Democratic priority, they're right,

She gets all the flowers. I mean ALL of them. If we see her, we immediately have to give her flowers.

The end of Section 2 of the VRA means that House elections need to be totally restructured. There’s no other choice. We’re not going back to no Black representation in the US House. Beyond unacceptable.

The world’s richest and most powerful people were too weak to stand up to the tiniest bit of accountability and people yelling at them online, so they simply purchased online and the Presidency, with an assist from inflation. That’s the story of the last five years.

These people will always exist. You just have to do what your ancestors did and what your descendants will have to do.

i do firmly believe in the end, we will win, but the dread and the loss of watching this nightmare unfold is really something. These assholes are undermining everything we've taken for granted as a democratic and open society (however imperfect) with such vile hubris

It’s funny to see Olivia Reingold complain about her ex-friend who comes from “media royalty” when she herself is media royalty. Dad was NBC Asia top brass and then bought six local CBS stations. She’s a Columbia legacy, and Michael Barbaro interviewed her for a WaPo puff piece when she was 10.
By Michael Barbaro
Celia and Olivia Reingold, owners of a District-based toy company, registered for the world's biggest toy show this year, convinced they would make strong connections across the industry. With more than 80 products, their company, they reasoned, was ready to play ball with the toy business's biggest players.
The toy fair's organizers didn't see it that way.
It turns out Celia, 13, and Olivia, 10, are too young to attend. Citing a longstanding policy, organizers of American International Toy Fair said it does not allow anyone under 18 to enter the conference, which ended yesterday in New York.
The girls said they are baffled by the policy.
"I don't think it's very fair," Olivia said in an interview yesterday. "We are managing our own business."

We elected one (1) Black president and SCOTUS said fine, I guess racism is over now. You won't be needing *any* of these legal protections against the discrimination of marginalized people.

The masculinity crisis is grown men never wanting to answer for being as socially repulsive as possible and not facing any scrutiny but want you and everyone else to gather a torch and pitchfork cause a marvel movie skews from the source material.

Which knowing Stan Lee, probably lifted from DC

He's really justifying this. Rape jokes, anti-Semitism, blatant racism.

There's no low he won't sink to. A dangerous, shameless liar.

once again I'm begging the people who write these sorts of headlines to learn a crumb of statistics

"average" = mean, median, or mode (usually mean)
in all cases "average" depends on distribution
all assume a single mode
most things aren't unimodal

P.S. I hate how easy it was to make this graph

2012 is when Republicans developed the unbreakable intuition that they were entitled to win elections notwithstanding what the voters said.

The media smeared Mitt Romney as Hitler. Then Republicans thought, well we might as well run Hitler.

There was a guy who actually tried to do just that (wanna say it was Washington) and he got killed.

They could (if these types were serious and not just sea lioning) at least highlight the dude seeing as how actually walked the talk and paid the ultimate price.

'I Am Antifa': One Activist's Violent Death Became A Symbol For The Right And Left
President Trump and his supporters portray antifa as the left's equivalent to deadly far-right extremists. Domestic terrorism data show just one fatality is linked to antifa — the attacker himself.

If you want to be a fully textured and interesting person you have to be willing to put yourself out there, because it's the only way to figure out who you actually are. There is no substitute.
