This man’s values are based in power, greed and division. They are so far removed from the values of the Australian people.
We need a government that has the courage to stand up to him, reject his racism, reject US bases and forge an independent peaceful path for Australia.

We already know who this will end up impacting. Tanya knows too. That's what makes this such a cynical political point winner. Sad politics from a government determined to ignore real problems.
A stupid and unjust entangling of policing and welfare.

The Albanese govt should put their time and effort into things that would make a real difference:
fixing the ineffective job provider scheme, and getting rid of the cruel and counterproductive 'mutual obligation' system. #poverty #auspol

We need stronger environmental laws that stop new coal and gas projects.

How the f*ck can you offset the last of something?
This is the bullshit thinking used to give business carte blanche on the environment.

When student loan repayments bring in over three times more revenue than the petroleum resources rent tax (PRRT), it’s clear the system is broken.

I welcome the govt’s 20% HECS cut, but there’s much more to do. Degrees are still too expensive, and this cut doesn’t help students starting this year.
