As a corollary to this: there are a lot of artists who will black-list you from BUYING art if you have AI slop in your profile. Seeing AI is an instant, immediate red flag for most artists because it's a signal that you do not respect artists (yes, that includes using it "until I can get real art").
Just so you know...
Art directors, Art enjoyers, Art buyers and Artists talk with each other. Nobody wants AI slop, specially when there is real art out there as an alternative. You can totally get blacklisted, not only on the industry, but inside fandoms for defending AI precarization and theft.

If your admin says "but we need to prepare students for AI-driven careers," you can calmly say no. Reiterate that AI-integration is the result of wild capitalist greed, the technologies themselves aren't "generative" or useful in most careers, and students should focus on process-based learning.

I feel the same about 'Rollin' Rascal'. I don't have any screenshots but I hear SO many people telling me in private about how he lets people say a lot of problematic things on his Discord, bickers over other people's countries ("bit of a nationalist"), and lets people insult Jewish and LGBT people.
Well, fuck. Revoking any and all Peripeteia recommendations (and I wish I could un-back it on Kickstarter) based on the very thinly veiled transphobia from the dev (the first one in the screenshots here).

It is SO much worse than just one dev.
The official server is run like 4chan, with a bot conveniently auto-replacing slurs. They also have their *own* code phrase to refer to trans people, and permit all sorts of awful things said there.

I think the audience for big-budget AAA military shooters probably aren't and wouldn't be interested in indie FPS anyway, but it's a damn good jumping off point to talk about those cool indie FPS titles anyway. Dominic's rattled off a load of neat looking games, so go have a look and check em out!
