Strongly consider doing this too if you care about the increase usage of A.i. when it comes to art
post reads as followed 'I have noticed an increase in services such as, but not limited to, crunchyroll using Generative A.I. to write captions for their shows and in the cases of services such as prime, using it as a replacement for Voice Actors. While CR is currently only doing the former, this is something that I disagree with on a moral level and if crunchyroll continues to do so, not only will I cease using it, I will make sure to inform every individual I know using the service to avoid Crunchyroll entirely. If your company believes that the use of generative A.I. is superior to the work of professional translators and captioners, you are mistaken. The use of A.I. in this department is indicative of both a lack of care for your employees and for the quality of proudct you produce. It ensures that Crunchyroll is percieved as cheap, lazy, and willing to put out low quality work if it means saving money. I personally enjoy the services that your site offers, however if this is a sign of things to come and generative A.I. continues to be involved in those productions, I refuse to use CR any longer. A.I. has no place in the production of art and entertainment. mckitterick (ADE.............- Yesterday 601 irritatingly, the list of Al settings in Firefox has grown. to kill them all as of today (Nov 20, 2026), go into about:config and set all of these to false (yes, you'll have to copy and paste them one by one): browser.ml.enable browser.ml.chat.enabled browser.ml.chat.menu browser.ml.chat.page • browser.ml.chat.page.footerBadge • browser.ml.chat.page.menuBadge browser.ml.link Preview.enabled browser.ml.pageAssist.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.enabled browser.tabs.groups.smart.userEnabled extensions.ml.enabled browser.search.visualSearch.featureGate in addition to nuking Al, it'll also speed up your browsing

Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.

tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.
