What's happening now is kind of worse. The Nazis rose to power while the German Economy was in shambles, with hyperinflation, etc. The great crisis in America was “You must be nice to people you don't like”. The original Nazi-enablers were facing starvation—we were facing tolerating drag queens.

The more I think about this, the more sense it makes.

Think about the Volkswagon. Hilter's vision of the nuclear family zipping out to the country for picnics. Strong, pure Germans in little escape pods, unentangled by the diseased masses in cities.

“College education” has been slowly morphing into “advanced job training” for quite a while.

The best thing, right now, might be to argue that we should commit to continuing to include a side-order of education with every entree of office-drone job training.

I’m convinced if you could measure “number of direct interactions with a black American on a daily basis” it would be a nearly perfect predictor for opposing Trump. (Controlling for Law Enforcement, obviously.)

that the moms make. Their only metric, really, is the opinions of their social circle. None of who know as much as she does.

From the outside looking in, so much of motherhood seems to be that. Trying to impress an audience. No wonder mommy social media is huge.

I realized that winning, deciding you got your kid in the “right” school, was based on the feedback a mother got. From her fellow moms, her spouse, her in-laws, etc.
