Revin emerged from the VIP cabin on the Queen of Belleriand just as 6 bells was striking. He went past the cockpit, where Will and Grip were discussing something in low tones. He went to the Observation Deck and looked out over open ocean. The sun was just breaking over the horizon. (1/4) #wss366

He woke up, rolled over, and checked the time. Late. What a shitty night. He felt like he'd barely slept. He'd kept waking up and bad thoughts made it hard to get back to sleep. And now he was late. He got up and threw on some clothes.
As he went downstairs, he smelled something. (1/4) #wss366

Okay, I’m going to tag this “allegedly funny,” because that’s the tag I’ve got for this sorta stuff. But this is legit funny:

"Instead, FEMA staff have been encouraged to use terms like “freezing rain” in their public messaging, the sources said."

It's crazy how many basic services require a fixed address to be shared, and how those fixed addresses are being used to target anyone remotely ethnic. Cities need VPAs, virtual private addresses, and businesses need to get over the obsession with your pErMAnEnt ADdrEsS.

Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.
This is so smart. I’m so impressed with all the different ways you’re helping your neighbors.

Next weekend is going to be pretty cold in Minneapolis. Maybe cold enough to convince some ICE goons that they'd be better off on disability in Kentucky.

I mean, every ICE goon has probably slipped on the ice at least once. Probably every one of those falls could be turned into a disability claim.

The inclusion of wealthy, developed countries like Uruguay would seem to indicate this list is about something other than the "public charge risk" excuse.

I've been pretty pleased that protests against ICE have been almost entirely peaceful. Violent protests would be used to justify even more violence by the police.

That's not going to last, though, as ICE proceeds from kidnapping people to just murdering them.
