I find both my Paratschwert and my Sigi Maestro will do a perfectly acceptable Prelhau. Plenty of flex.

Still, a gorgeous sword with plenty of flex is awfully nice, and that one is gorgeous.

If you really want to be untethered, local solar time is the easiest! Just look to see where the sun is, to know the time within an hour or so. (Or set up a sundial.)
