The reason the top 10% of income earners pay more than half of all tax revenue is NOT because they are taxed more than ever.

Their tax rate has been cut FIVE times in the last 25 years.

They are paying more because their INCOME has increased astronomically, where the income of the bottom half has

A much more accurate headline - and one that would certainly remove the implied sneer and anglo-centrism - would be: can Britain learn from Ireland when it comes to problem drinking.

But of course that would mean the BBC considering the UK could ‘learn’ from a former colony… imagine …
It may well be, Mr BBC, but have you checked the state of the average British high street on a Friday and Saturday night? Throwing stones in your glass-house is a wild look

There's countless reasons why we cannot let Westminster-controlled MSPs run Holyrood.

Education, health and water being just three of them.

Keep Labour, Tories, Lib Dems and Reform UK out of Scotland’s Parliament.

It was a manifesto pledge

Why no 'pragmatic' U-turn' on nationalising water, energy, rail rolling stock companies and freight; ending privatisation of the NHS and social care; taxing the super rich?

So an admission that Labour kept 450,000 children in poverty for the past year because they didn't care enough about child poverty to lift them out of it last year

Interesting! What we're seeing with all this new data is that the Brexit damage is only getting worse as time goes on. Companies aren't "adjusting", they're either leaving, downscaling or going under. From manufacturing to services to culture to farming and fishing, the decline is snowballing.

Whilst Scotland has the .scot top level domain (TLD), and Wales .wales and .cymru, there has never been an application for an England TLD.

That's because .uk is used instead. Thus continuing the prejudice that the UK = England.
