One insurance denial for Teressa’s husband stated, “your newborn does not meet the criteria for coverage.”

“This is when I really start to think they’re just denying,” she recalled. “They’re not even looking. They’re just ‘deny, deny, deny.’”

Haven't seen anyone comment on it yet but this local Illinois journalist has revealed that internal AIPAC fundraising emails call both Kat Abu and Daniel Biss anti-American for their opposition to Israeli apartheid.
The second email on Sept. 15, also sent by AIPAC, encourages donations to Angie Craig in MN, Haley Stevens in MI and Laura Fine in IL-09

Links to all three of these candidates lead to the same "Pro-Israel Network" donation page using Democracy Engine as the vendor

So basically what they're doing is delaying (indefinitely?) implementation of a couple of rules from the Biden administration that were going to make it easier for dual-eligible people to maintain the Medicaid (and MSP) coverage we are eligible for.

per wikipedia: "The East Wing as it exists today is a two-story structure and was added to the White House in 1942 primarily to cover the construction of an underground bunker, now known as the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC)." should raise security concerns?

My friend @ambelies.bsky.social relies on SNAP and it's about to end ... please chip in if you can! They do not always have access to get out to food pantries and have so many other needs as well because disability does not cover actually living!

Many people are outraged that Trump is demolishing part of the White House. But of course Trump can't do it without help. It's ACECO LLC of Silver Spring MD ("full-service demolition") that is tearing down the People's House. You can call them and let them know how you feel. 1/

Hey, I know Gaza and Portland and Chicago and general mutual aid is all needing support badly right now. And, remember that devastating fire at the start of the year in LA? This carpenter and artist lost his tools and his art and could use help re-stocking his work kit so he can help other folks.
We’re now at 66%. I’m hoping we can absolutely knock this down before there is no more baseball, especially because this started before spring training this year! Please help me by giving and sharing with your friends. You know people who can help! It would mean a lot to me ❤️⚾️

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Majd. Before the war Majd was a software engineer, he wrote this beautiful thread about what happened to him and his family including Zeina, 4, Lareen, 6 and Mona, 8. Mona was so traumatized that she’s not been able to speak and needs care.

TOMORROW: Join us as we stand with Congresswoman McIver as she heads into court.
