If you cannot sit with someone's pain and feel the need to chime in with explanations or ~positivity~ you are almost certainly acting to fulfill YOUR needs in the moment, not the other person's. Stop and really consider what you are doing and why.

Dear #MedSky if you are giving patients social vital signs surveys & asking about how much they socialize but NOT asking if they have ACCESS to socialize, you are missing a serious public health data point.

My mom told her physical therapist she wears a mask because her husband and daughter are immunocompromised. The PT said she is too but isn't worried bc she knows if she dies she is going to heaven. Then her co-worker yelled, “Shut up Debbie you wear a seatbelt and take blood pressure meds” 👀

I read RFK Jr's most recent book and his entire strategy is to ignore margin of error stuff when claiming vaccines causes problems and to never cite meta-analysis things.
I need people who are profiling RFK Jr to not recite, uncritically, the number of studies the man says he has read.
