It's not just war around the globe, but current-gen policing in America, and basic "how do we treat each other".

Best way I can put it is how Patrick Skinner (@SkinnerPm) who is a cop but ex-USCG+CIA puts it on Twitter: "All of us matter, or none of us do."

my "kind of funny, kind of sad" story on this is that when I showed up with an EE degree for Navy nuclear power school, one of our textbooks marked Ohm's law as (C) for Confidential.

I am fortunate that I can buy most staples at the Commissary on-base (SOCIALISM!) but even with that: ain't no way I can feed three adults in my household on $87.50/week in 2025.
