Stay Weird Portland! 🔥 Today Portland had an emergency naked bike ride to the ICE facility. IN THE RAIN.

It was around 50°. Thousands were fully nude, half nude, or wearing costumes.

Portland is VERY dedicated to exposing the absurdities of injustice.

By the time you have an authoritarian regime, #science communication is not the issue. To prevent authoritarian regimes, science #education can help. For example, see this great proposal by @katharinehayhoe.com that scientists need to ditch the myth that we should be neutral & stay out of politics

On a mindfulness class, they once told us that when you are breathing in and out, that you should breath out for as long as you can and make it longer than breathing in. apparently that's key to regulate the nervous system. and I have to say, it's been a game charger!
