The second he phoned that one guy’s tailor should have been the last time anyone took a run at him

Seeing people take runs at the menswear guy is bonkers to me as a guy who wears the same hoodies he had in highschool. I leave that guy well enough alone, I don’t want any of that smoke.

These guys are terrified of the numbers that are going to turn out on Saturday, and that's all the more reason to put down your "wine mom protest" objections and join them.

In this case the post got deleted because someone IDd the poor girl in the picture and it made her life hell.

Really seems like the same source though.

St. Louis - A 26-year-old Olive Garden waitress was arrested Saturday evening after what police described as a "gratuity dispute that got out of control."
Witnesses say the waitress had been serving a couple on a date night who ran up a $94 bill with pasta, wine, and appetizers.
When they left no tip, she allegedly slammed the receipt onto their table and shouted, "Unlimited breadsticks doesn't mean unlimited free labor!"
Police say she then grabbed a basket of breadsticks and hurled it at the couple, striking the man in the chest. As staff intervened, she shoved the woman toward the wall and accused them of "stealing her wages."
She was arrested on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.
The incident drew so much attention that a customer in the dining room started a livestream - and within hours, clips of the breadstick-throwing meltdown had racked up millions of views, turning the restaurant into an online spectacle.

There’s a bunch of these going around now I think. I saw one a couple days ago where she was an Olive Garden waitress who didn’t get a tip and ended up in a similar situation with a witty repartee (something like: “it says unlimited free breadsticks not unlimited free labor!”). Def. a pattern.

Argh. Power outage in cambridge. I’m out of town but got notice from all my systems and watched as the main UPS ran out of battery and then internet totally dropped. Guess I need a bigger battery if I want more than 20 minutes of uptime in a blackout these days.

Did not know this about Old Bay
The origins of the company can be traced back to Wertheim, Germany, where Brunn started a wholesale spice and seasoning business selling to food industries, seeing an opportunity as spices were in especially short supply amidst hyperinflation in the aftermath of World War I. 9] Due to rising antisemitism as the Nazi Party rose to power, the company moved to Frankfurt, Germany; 1°1 however, on the night of November 9, 1938, a massive pogrom against Jews, known as Kristallnacht, led to Brunn being arrested by Nazi soldiers and sent to Buchenwald concentration camp. "
According to Brunn's son, Gustav's wife paid a large sum of money to a lawyer for him to be released; as they had already applied for and received American visas, they were able to escape with their two children to New York City and later Baltimore, Maryland, where Brunn had family.!'! There, having brought with him only a small spice grinder, 8! Brunn founded the Baltimore Spice Company and produced the
"Delicious Brand Shrimp and Crab Seasoning", which was later renamed Old Bay. 12[13]

We’re in New York city this weekend and multiple times my 9 year old has noticed a large gaggle of cops hanging out on their phones (once in the subway and once just on a corner off of Times Square) and been like “do the police just hang out and have parties here?”

Well the problem is that Windows is actively working to shove adware BS down peoples throat. That's what's making the Linux devotees louder than before.

It all depends on the cinematographer (for movies filmed digitally to begin with) or the digitizing/restoration team (for a film like Amadeus where they had to go back to the print and choose how to digitize and tweak the video).

So yea, a lot of the time it’s fucking terrible. Some are good though
