We're pretty much doomed by friggin morons. But at least the cannabis is cheap and dank.

It's not just the party.
Young men are inundated with right-wing content.
Including bawdy jokes that lean heavily towards racism & bigotry.
I've watched 4 sons deal with it in their own ways and tried to guide them. From the high school halls to TikTok videos, it's everywhere. Being "edgy" is cool

ICE is stockpiling arms, including chemical weapons, guided missile warheads and explosive components. The spending dwarfs anything we've ever seen in the agency - a 700% increase.

The President is building an army to attack his own country.
Such a fickle bunch of fools.
We're doomed by frickin morons who can't bother to pay much attention to what the heck is happening to our country.
Shoulda brought in a dozen Hispanic guys. They woulda had that demo done a lot better, cheaper and cleaner.

This is a hack job by someone who doesn't really know what they're doing for demo.
I've done a lot of construction and demo work.
This is a complete hack job.
Cutting back sheathing without damaging the rafters.
Removing shingles and being a lot more surgical.
This isn't saving money by going fast, this is wasting money by doing damage.
Not one for conspiracy theories, but is it suspicious to anyone else that this is above the Bunker?

Could trump have wanted a bunker upgrade (totally something he would want) and is using the ballroom construction as cover?
They can totally conceive it and they know damn well.
But- it is a very effective talking point to deflect from reality used by them and their followers.
No, it would require a Constitutional Amendment- ratified by 2/3rds of the states. Never gonna happen in this timeline. An alternative must be found. Gerrymandering the shit out of Blue states is a start.
Fkn glorious.
Also, the sheer haughty nature of these bastards is disgusting.
I pray that one day, we will have true justice for the crimes they have committed against our Country.

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

Last weekend, @annabower.bsky.social started to receive Signal messages from the U.S. attorney who is leading the prosecution of Letitia James.

Throughout the exchange, Lindsay Halligan complained about Bower’s tweets and reporting on the indictment–but never once asked to be off the record.

That is some seriously funny shit.
I suggest everyone read the entirety of the texts but the ending is glorious.
Anna Bower, my hat is off for you ma'am.

The entire "free speech on campus" moral panic was manufactured to blackmail us into making space in intellectual life for bigots and charlatans who couldn't get there on their own merits. Its a DEI scheme for fascism. Congratulations to everyone who took it at face value.
“Following his lecture, Yarvin will debate the legendary British historian David Starkey on history and the future of conservatism.” Everything about this is so cursed. Masks off at the University of Oxford.

Al Gore didn’t hold back: The Trump admin is “attacking the heart of truth,” twisting facts like the Nazis did in the 1930s. From climate denial to rewriting the Ukraine war, it’s all about power—not reality.
Gore warned the U.S. is under siege—and every former leader should speak out like he did.

Not being even vaguely sarcastic:

At some point, a journalist needs to ask Johnson “you regularly claim you have no idea what your own government is doing. If we take you at your word, how are you so poorly informed, and do you this level of ignorance should disqualify you as speaker?”
Q: What's your message to the 170 US citizens who have been detained by ICE? About 20 of them are children

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know what you're talking about with the children. I haven't seen that so I'm not going to comment on it.
There's like 6 Hatch Act violations already on there.

This doesn’t even include the ones who had pending case but he had their charges dropped.
These 2 cases perfectly showcase Trumpism in a nutshell.
