More ideas. We’re not going to run out of ideas but generative AI is a tool for people who don’t want to be involved in the step between idea and art. People whose own ideas will never evolve or become more complex because they don’t actually want to interact with or examine them.

What's funny about that Animal Farm trailer is it is an abomination and also exactly what you'd expect a soulless corporate reimagining of the story to look like. What a time to be alive.

We often talk about the pressure to always show up in American society. Go to work sick! Power through! The practice of law takes that to an unhealthy extreme, and then we wonder why rates of depression and addiction are so high among lawyers.

I know I complain about making graphic novels a lot and it's bcuz I'm working on books around a full-time job I need to pay student loans and a mortgage and publishing would prefer it if I was independently wealthy so that I could focus on their contracts full-time without needing to be paid.
