A second weird thing found on Mt Tongariro summit ridge yesterday:

A constantly playing, solar-powered #Japanese or #Chinese(?), nembutsu chanting plastic lotus flower, firmly embedded in the ground.
I turned it off, but no one here has seen anything like it in the #mountains before!

Well, I’ve got some nice #allotment ideas from our visit to #Hobbiton. Not least of which is a shed with a round door! 🤣

How low we have sunk as a country. The US Department of Defense is now run by a rabid war criminal.

Ordering the execution of helpless survivors of an attack is ALWAYS a war crime, whether they civilian or military.

Pure, mindless, barbarism.

I love the #Biosecurity announcement en route to #Rangitoto volcanic island:

“Please check your backpacks for any rats, mice or stoats!”

No mention of checking for plant seeds in turn-ups, or other sensible stuff like that. But good to be told to scrub our boots before boarding.

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

Reform UK Party Ltd spent £700,000 on a 2-page spread — one page being just an image of Farage and the other a letter, meaning he spent £350,000 on pictures of himself.

The average UK house price is £272,000.

Also, the ‘full English’ is badly photoshopped on — it's tiny!

Nigel Farage has spent £1m taking out adverts in the papers to distract from the Nathan Gill Russian bribe scandal.

We can't let him buy himself out of this. We need an investigation into Russian influence in our politics.

What he neglects to admit is that Reform plans to cut £300+ billion from the public services that these "working people" rely on every day.

Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.
