Absolutely- I learned that later on in the same day when we did a fabulous nighttime guided tour of Zealandia. Thought if I kept quiet, perhaps nobody would notice!

Actually, it was probably specified as a 400mm box, with two additional dimensions for those of us who live in a 3D world. But there you go.

That doesn’t sound too good for the remaining toms in our polytunnel once we get back home next month. Don’t think our daughter, who’s there, will have been going down the allotment to check on things. ☹️

I was 16 back in 1974 when UK’s Practical Wireless began to publish a multi-part monthly article on building a home calculator with Nixie tubes.
They abandoned it midway through when the cost of new tech made the c.£200 cost unjustifiable. Sinclair Scientific kits were only £80, soon lowered to £16!

The tree itself was in a magnificent setting, and had a fantastic form.

The seedlings from it are worthless, in my view. They only serve to keep awareness going that society does actually care about cultural vandalism.
