My friends have been on the #BCGEU picket line for a while now, some of them five weeks.

The BC NDP showed up 3 hours late to offer them a meager 3.5% increase. 0.5% up from their initial offer.

Write your MLAs, please. Bully them.

Aftonbladet's interview with Greta Thunberg is now available in English - it raises many serious questions, not least about the Swedish govt. effectively abandoning its citizens to torture because it doesn't agree with their politics. A thundering disgrace.

> Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates. Click.
Scroll down to Enrol in Extended Security Updates (or similar wording).
Click on it.

Yeuck, sorry to hear. Attitudes like that from companies just drive people farther and farther into their niche communities and away from the larger ones.

Which, ya know, dope for niche communities, but any company worrying about a shrinking player base needs to ditch the folk driving people away.

I've got gal pals who explicitly do not go on mic, and that sucks outloud because most of the co-op games I play these days: DRG, Vermintide, etc are way more fun if you get to yammer away on mic while rocking and/or stoning and battering rats with halberds.

Hate they feel they can't for REASONS.

Makes me mad that all the media I consumed as a very young man always made it the gag that RPG, gamer, whatever nerds have never seen a girl before in the space.

I don't wanna workshop comedy from the 90s/aughts, but it was exhausting then and now it's just embarrassing.

Aye, every table is different, but they coulda at least provided a bullet list of features/history of the bar.

Like the back wall beside the tiny stage is marked up with graffiti of all the bands and acts that played there, or there is a massive, gothic iron chandelier hanging over the bar.

If it makes ya feel any better, there does exist DVD copies of the un-specialed edition of Star Wars. It's an option to play the later edited ones, or watch the original trilogy in GLORIOUS laser disc quality.

RIP Drew Struzan - a man whose talent and imagination etched onto so many minds throughout the last 40+ years.

His art & posters are some of the first visuals I think of when I think about cinema - an invitation to watch these stories and worlds.
