Been wondering what my pinned post should be.

And I keep coming back to this…

I can’t think of a more pertinent quote for the dystopian times we’re living in than the words of MLK Jr from *six decades ago*

I know who Nus Ghani MP is - not because we always agree - but because she’s been serving her constituency (as well as lewks) since 2015.

Who the hell is Lucy White?!

Ah, a quick google search reveals her as a rentagob for GB ‘news.’

I know which one is qualified to chair the budget debate.

This research was published 14 months ago. In *Nature*.

Three months BEFORE Wes Streeting announced a "permanent ban" on puberty-blockers.

& yesterday, the Tories insisted you don't even need a clinical trial to keep that ban, forever...

Evidence has now emerged of the adverse consequences of the laws banning GAHT for trans youth in both the US and UK. This includes sharp declines in mental health and increased suicide attempts among transgender young people.

Do your job

And the next time you have Farage on, please ask him directly:

…what were the motivations behind this?

“Did Nathan Gill ever say anything you disagree with in return for his bribes from a Kremlin stooge?”

“Did you, in your roles as his boss, friend, mentor & party leader, ever question his full-throated support for an enemy of the UK and if not, why not?”

You can have those for nothing, lads.

It's January 31st, 2020, and Nathan Gill is celebrating our imminent departure from the EU.... and that terrible idea of a European Army.

Hmm, now I wonder who else would have been delighted about that.

Newmarket MP Matt Hancock gave a £37bn Covid testing contract to Jockey Club director Dido Harding, who subcontracted it to Grand National sponsor Randox, employer of Tory MP Owen Paterson, whose late wife chaired Aintree racecourse. That's how the Tories handled the pandemic.

I keep forgetting that Ms Reeves is the UK's first woman chancellor.

I can't begin to imagine the pressure that she's under. Misogyny and sexism are never OK, under any circumstances.

However, she's part of a team that's manifestly failing to deliver on their promises. And *that's* the problem.

We’re long past needing an in-depth investigation into ongoing Russian interference in our politics. With the 10+ yr sentence handed to ex-Welsh Leader of #Reform Nathan Gill today, this is urgent. Gill had influence over the man touted as our next PM. We need to know the risk to our democracy. Now.
