Stop using generative AI. There is no legitimate use of generative AI. There is no “I hate AI but this is ok”. Not everyone is using it. We do not have to “get used to it or be left behind.” Just don’t. Just stop. Delete the app. Close your account. Save some money. Take the first step.

An art student ask me why I'd bother making entire books when prints are sold at the same price. A great question!

As an artist, books have allowed me to:
- reach a massive audience
- get my work in schools and libraries
- get invited to events internationally
- get a fat check :)

Studios and developers want instant financial success and cite media like Spongebob- a show that did not do super well in the ratings for two seasons and was granted a third anyway. This industry used to grant time and trust to let things develop, find a voice, find an audience, be marketed.

Living in LA, I’ve lived in many a neighborhood in which police helicopters circle all day and they don’t do anything except be loud an annoying. You know what improved the morale and safety of my neighborhood in less than two weeks? A new taco stand. I’m 1000% serious. In general street food vendors on a block means more pedestrian foot traffic round the clock, if they’re open late, that’s more eyes in a neighborhood. Additionally in an area with many dark empty storefronts, literally adds light and vitality to the area. More of the neighborhood is meeting each other waiting in line for nearby tacos. I met people three houses down I didn’t know. It feels like we’re all only now getting to know each other, over a torta and some soda. They also posted up at a bus stop and out open until 2am. Meaning people waiting for a bus stop are not longer waiting alone in the dark. There’s a noticiable air of camaraderie, safety and enthusiasm. Street vendors did more for our neighborhood than the city ever did. City planners had left the area in disrepair. The vendors literally CLEANED THE BLOCK. THEY PICKED UP TRASH THE CITY NEGLECTS. I’m serious when I say in the area they posted up, it’s markedly cleaner. This is not the work of the local waste removal services. This is taqueros.

I'll start!

I'm Silvi and I love drawing character sheets and items. Here are some of the characters from my own worldbuilding project!
Character sheet for a woman with a long snake body from hips down and two pairs of white wings - big ones on her back and smaller ones about halfway down the snake part of the body. The sheet includes two alternative outfits for her, and her goldsmithing tools as well as a few pieces of jewelry she wears. A demoness character sheet, with golden horns and tail, additional outfits and two rabbit companions: Honeybun and Butterscotch. Character sheet for a minotaur-blooded character, including a back view, a main summer-linen outfit, three variants of travelling clothes, a portrait and horn profile, her favorite staff and brooch and a nude thigh-up shot showing off her vitiligo spots. Fit elf by the name Istvan sun Leishian, including his armor, diplomat clothes, his work clothes for carpentry, his favorite bow, cane and the jewelry he enjoys to wear. The reference also shows his two snake tattoos spanning his right arm and left leg.
