Between Chadwick Boseman, James Van Der Beek, so many others, and now this, the fact that so many young people have been getting cancer and have to jump through so many hoops just to get treatment is a scathing indictment of the fucked up American healthcare system

He gave us so much help and only asked in return was we help others like he helped us, which I'm trying my best to do, especially with emerging devs.

The actual secret to my success is that I attended a magnet school program for creative writing in high school that existed as a remnant of the desegregation program
I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.
And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.

AAA industry’s boner for hollywood orchestral has effectively resulted in major franchises with no recognizable music. do you ever think about how weird it is that assassin’s creed doesn’t have a unifying theme because i’ve played all twenty of em and think about it regularly
AAA games are technically very impressive and still a great time, but I can’t think of too many things more representative of losing your sauce than needing to combine multiple series to have enough recognizable music for a concert tour, and then quietly canceling that concert tour early anyways
