I’m annoyed that even left-leaning people are using it. I tried to talk to people with ASD who want to “reclaim it” and that having ASD associated with intellectual disability sets a bad precedent. I just got poor excuses. Electric Car Man uses it liberally. Do you want to sound like that?
I hate that the R-slur is making a comeback.
As someone who was called that by bullies on a regular basis back in high school, this hurts.
