Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth chastised Sen. Mark Kelly for incorrectly displaying his military uniform medals, not comprehending that photographs reverse images from left to right. Here’s what that says about Joe Biden’s cognitive state.

I remember at Adobe when I realized the "feature database" should have instead been called the "problem database".

Right from the start people think they should be asking for a feature instead of describing a problem or, even better, *goal*.

no, her new WiFi-enabled oven had updated itself to have gobble sounds when a timer went off

And all the Christians got it wrong,

But you don’t really get the meaning do ya?

‘Cause you see its about getting laid,

It’s sex, and love, and Jewish faith,

But all the gentiles heard was “hallelujah!”

A great long-term takeaway from my time at Stanford was their university policy of EANABs: for every college event with alcohol, equal $ had to be spent on Equally Attractive Non-Alcoholic Beverages, so it wasn't a choice between Fancy Cocktail vs Sprite. It helped both reduce stigma & pressure.
Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays:

Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.

If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.

Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.

A depraved and decadent Trump WH dinner for MBS was a stunning low for an American ruling class that's stopped pretending to carry a moral compass

It was really a celebration of death - of democracy, of an overheating planet, and ultimately themselves. My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/ceos...
