Kindness and sympathy are signs of personal strength; hate is a sign of personal weakness.
It will be interesting in 30 or 40 years when relatives of the soil members of the Supreme Court are just randomly killed because of the rulings of the ancestors. (There will be as many “trumps” in the US as there are ”Hitlers” in Germany.

“Let’s build A ballroom” is the 21st Century version of “Let them eat cake.” In an unrelated question: does Amazon sell guillotine sharpeners?

Classic con play. The payoff is always just around the corner — and then it vanishes….never to reappear.
Brooke Rollins: "These deals are real. No one in the history of our country has ever been able to effectuate deals like this. We won't see the effect until next year."

So we pay the food tariffs through higher grocery prices, then we pay $12 billion (through our taxes) to bail out the farmers because of the tariffs.

In the mean time, grocery prices are still up. Because... tariffs.

It's a lose-lose-lose situation for American consumers.

They put Jeff Kent in the HOF and not Delgado, or Mattingly or Valenzuela — literally insane. I’d like to know why — politics? Racism? What the Hell?

Trumpiggy admitted he wanted a political payoff after a pardon of a Texas Democrat. That's a felony quid pro quo whether he actually received it or not. He should be impeached for it.

GOP cowards say: courage is for Democrats.

Feeling like this is straight Darwinism. Jackasses should not reproduce. Or be happy. Or not lonely. Honestly, they should live in a van down by the river by themselves and die young.
I think an important thing to understand about brofluencer ideology is that they do not just deny that being toxic and shitty makes you a less appealing partner, they insist that women are only genuinely attracted to toxic and shitty men and being kind will instead make women lose respect for you.
I'm starting to wonder how much "the male loneliness epidemic" is just straight and bisexual women identifying low-effort, mean, and incompetent men and choosing not to date, marry, and tolerate them anymore

When government becomes lawless, so too, do the people. Expect 2026 to be filled with violence against elected officials (I don’t support this, but as a student of history, I see it as inevitable.)
WELKER: Is there any hard evidence showing this particular boat was headed to the US?

TOM COTTON: That didn't come up in my briefing

WELKER: Are you comfortable having the US target a boat that you're not sure is heading to the US?

COTTON: I'm not just comfortable with it -- I want to continue it

Because the Trump Administration is about showing off their tiny 2-inch penises and show what ”tough, manly men” these loser wusses are — by killing innocent people who can’t fight back.
This doesn’t add up. If the drugs were not heading to America, how could the people on the boat be a threat to America? www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...

Just a little reminder:

Elon Musk is lying to you.

He bends when asked to, and the fine X received from the EU has nothing to do with censorship.

Musk simply refuses to follow laws and be transparent, and he gets a tiny fine for it

The 14th Amendment is as clearly and unambiguously written as any law on the books. Politically it was intended to suppress former Confederates and prevent the conditions that led to the Civil War. To attack it is to give comfort to their heirs and cut into the seams of our society.

Elon and his X-Twitter bots are busy whining about how the EU's lawsuit against X is unfair and about free speech, but as usual, they are lying. This is what the EU suit is really about.

Elon Musk and X have nothing to do with the American People. He is a product and we are consumers by choice. NATO has nothing to do with Musk or X. I'm fed up with America being run by podcasters and billionaires.

X and Elon Musk are threats to democracy around the world. Hopefully, the EU continues to treat him as such.

X being fined by the EU is not a free speech issue. It is a security issue. Musk’s opposition to regulation is driven by the fact that he is backed by authoritarian regimes and is protecting their influence ops, which erode our democratic discourse.

I’d pay to see him host the Oscars. The booing would be relentless. He would embarrass himself, wander off in confusion and make a general mess of things. The arrogance and lack of skills to back them up are hilarious.
Trump: We never had a president hosting the awards. If I cannot beat out Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, I don't think I should be president.

What a spoiled brat Elon is — he deserves all of the scrutiny his platform is getting. The world would be much better off without X or FB.
Elon Musk is against the European Union being the European Union —he posted this after X (fka Twitter) was fined for violations of the EU’s Digital Services Act.

Everyone has probably heard of Dusenberg cars — “It’s a Doosey” comes from that. Rich folks sold off their “Dooseys” and bought Buicks during the Great Depression. Why? Because they recognized that rich people were likely to be taken to task by the poor and wanted to hide. This is coming again.
