I'm just at a loss, trying to understand how the majority of this country is not just indifferent to cruelty, but applauds it. I thought most of us were humane. I was wrong.

I would love to see an absolute shitstorm massive blowup in kindness. Like... a pandemic of niceness. A massive worldwide effort to do multiple kind things for strangers and neighbors and family every day. A trend so big it takes over social media and makes even the right wing news take notice.

Refusing to follow an order to murder 11 people on a boat, in international waters, with no trial would seem to be a good move for the military. But apparently they are ready to follow orders from the orange emperor, whether legal of not. This should frighten everyone. It's a glimpse into our future

I agree but I would also add that they even label their own MAGA voters as uneducated and unfit. MAGA just doesn't realize they are voting for people who see them as pawns and therefore expendable.
