Yes, I've read the full Miyamoto quote. I honestly don't find it all that much better even with the context. His sentiment regarding old games on old hardware is still the same, and that is the part I have an issue with. If he thinks it's sad, he sure has plenty of opportunities to address that.

As someone with a lot of step siblings who were raised as siblings, the tendency for 00s RPGs and anime to go "we're not really related so let's fuck" is incredibly ick. Like, I struggle to think of any example where they go "hmm, maybe this isn't emotionally healthy?"

I'm guessing this is something to do with Grandia properly using both of the video processors properly but I'm not going to pretend to be a clever person who can start talking about VDP1&2.

Anyway I kind of want someone who does good CRT photos to photograph the flamey dogs.
