And yes this came up when I was watching Kyofu Frankenstein and the Creature was called a "Jinzoningen" and the subtitles adapted that as "Homunculus"
Some translations of Dragon Ball went with "Androids", others with "Cyborgs" (mine went with the latter) but truth of the matter is that the Japanese "Jinzoningen", "Artificial Human", is so broad in meaning that these characters could also be that and yeah, at some point you have to cut your losses

(1/4) - For those curious, yes, all my Makuta designs were designed as MOCs first, in Studio, to give them all this "authentic" look when drawn.
Unfortunately, I don't have my mask designs as models and don't 3D model myself, so I had to use others' masks as placeholders.
