The landslide-related closures of Highways 6 and 229 are devastating to the communities that depend on them-- this disruption impacts the local tourist economy, local businesses like the Tilllamook Creamery, and leaves Oregonians disconnected from each other.

Disappointed to see the IBR team once again deferred providing an updated cost estimate.

I am concerned the ongoing cost-escalation will make it difficult to complete this project while also finding funding to maintain existing statewide roads and bridges. #orleg

Hey gang, I’m still figuring out what to prioritize and I’m curious for your feedback.

Right now, I’m considering dropping the weekly news updates because I only have so much time. I feel that I’m doing a disservice to people/stories by spending time on a recap of news that’s already out there…

I was one of the last ppl in my friend group to leave Twitter. I had an actual local community on it and was scared to leave it behind.

I never looked back personally, it’s so so so bad and not using it is probably the most material way to stick it to this administration w/o like donating money
Elon's little serfs are quite literally begging journalists to come back because every publicly available source of data shows people have fled the platform and young people won't use it.

They are literally begging regular people to come back. Don't do it! It is a website by and for actual Nazis!

Would love to be helpful to anyone doing the same in Portland (or anywhere else in the metro area).
Hundreds of young people, led by students at Hillsboro High School, walked out of their classes Friday morning in protest of ICE activity in their communities.
