Whole heartedly agree. There should not be a revolving door. It gets worst the smaller the jurisdiction too... Just look over in Eastern Oregon and fiber optics/data centers.

Definitely takes me back to bike lanes=white lanes & gentrification discussions that were had/continue to have. Personally, I would say...start /w an equity&inclusion lens and go from there, but everyone is on a different part of their journey. But I'm not going to fault excited parent volunteers.

But that being said... They have a near side stop at Holgate because they didn't want to cut into the cemetery. I prefer the Popeyes stop location for Foster.

It is generally best practice to have the stops located on the far side (ie after the intersection) because it reduces conflicts between right-turning vehicles, eliminates sight-distance provlems on approaches to an intersection, and encourages folks to exit the rear of the bus.

I wonder ehy isn't there a "some more" BAT lane option. The double access on Foster/85nd is going to be spendy to eminent domain to close + let Fubonn get their way and then let them watch all the aunties and uncles with hand carts go to Hong Phat!
