Seeing a lot of folks calling these acts war crimes.

And, to be clear, had these acts been committed in an armed conflict they would amount to *multiple* war crimes.

But it is crucial we distinguish wartime crimes from those outside of war.

Really unfortunate for my grandma to have a complete mental flip of some kind (she still needs testing done) around the holidays. Glad I went with friends tonight. Watching people age is sad. It’s especially hard when it’s unexpected major health changes.

Transportation peeps in the PDX metro— who would be into a small in-person focus group around messaging? I’d host in late December/ early January, our office in Multnomah Village. Respond/ DM if interested and I’ll send a calendar poll out after this weekend. I want to learn and do better.

Thinking about the homeless woman on the bus today who was just riding the bus back and forth, carrying all her belongings with her, because she had no where to go until the shelter opened back up for dinner. Overnight only shelters don’t stabilize people.

Alright everyone! We are getting to the final few days to sign the Finding Home petition!

By signing this petition you will show Portland City Councilors and Multnomah County Commissioners that we want root cause solutions to our housing crisis!

Maybe this is radical (lol) but what if whenever someone is hit and killed on the street we automatically shut down any extra lanes like sorry one lane in each direction now you lost your capacity privilege

Also one of the first things the new staff asked me is if I’m paying for my parking spot lol if they make me start paying after 2 years of me fighting them and nearly suing them I will scream

I also asked about power doors and they said something about having to go through the city and it being a whole thing with the wiring and it not being required and stuff so I doubt that’s going anywhere

Just sent my nearly 2 year old accommodation request to new staff for the 3rd time! I love being disabled and having rights! It is not at all a systemic burden placed on individuals just trying to have their basic needs met!

The transit service cuts are going to be so horrific I cannot fathom. The next several years are going to be hell. We need a full time legislature. We need special sessions. They have to dig us out of the hell we are in. Reform the fucking tax system. No more budget cuts under wealth inequality.

what a policy failure to spend hundreds of millions on a bus rapid transit line and then cut funding for service so the bus isn't exactly so rapid(ly arriving) after all.

these cuts are going to be so brutal and we're going to need everyone hootin and hollarin' at legislators to find a solution
"""Bus rapid transit""" (service every half hour)

There is no better car advertisement than spending 30 minutes waiting on a bus.
