I once tried to visit someone in jail but was turned away because I was “dressed slutty.” I was wearing the same sleeveless tank I’d worn to work at the library. My clothing did not violate the dress code, which I had carefully studied before visiting.

There’s something definitively, inarguably evil in how Bureau of Prisons operates with respect to visitation.
Because I just drove 5 hours for a monthly visit only to be met with signs taped to the door “No Visitation Today”.

I cannot fully express the relief I’m feeling, sitting here at the VA pharmacy, just to have medications prescribed again. It’s been almost a full year since I had any meds. And that’s- so very far from okay.

Camden is an underfunded school in North Minneapolis, and they weren’t able to put on a fall play this year due to lack of funding. Camden Drama Club is a very important space for queer kids who don’t have a lot of safe spaces in their lives, and they need to raise funds to continue. Can you help?

Katie just called me. She is being held by Homeland Security at the Whipple Federal Building down by the airport.
They have not told her anything. No word on release, no word on charges. Nothing. Ridiculous. But she is fine and in good spirits.

You can get $50K/yr in loans for chiropractic school or theology, but PA & NP students are now limited to 20K/yr.
