Welp, I just almost burned down my apartment building because I lazily left an empty pizza box in the oven and didn't remember it until my living room was pretty thoroughly filled with smoke. I have also discovered that my smoke alarms do not seem to work. Fun times.

I showed one of the other players in my DnD group the miniature I painted up for my character and he responded by excitedly pulling up the AI slop portrait he had generated for his and I don't know that I was very successful in disguising the look of instant revulsion that must have crossed my face.

It is harder and harder every day to stomach sharing a planet with these people. They are so uninvested in anything resembling a genuine human experience that I feel euthanasia is the kindest solution for everyone involved.

The DnD campaign I am in continues to be a lot of fun, although my character has become considerably more monstrous than I had originally intended. Today's hijinks included surgically amputating the limbs of a captive Giff to keep as a bloodbag aboard the party's ship.
