And if they have a spouse that would need a job in Windsor? With one of, if not the highest unemployment rate?
Sure. If they can sell their house, buy another house and uproot their family. It is out of touch.

it occurs to me we could’ve avoided all this if we’d just given him a whole bunch of giant lego sets back in 2015

I can appreciate the politik at work here as well, but it sure *seems* like we've been waffling and conceding at every single meaningful stage since the election. Hard not to feel betrayed thus far. At what point do Canada's interests actually get defended?
It's the comment he made that people affected by Stellantis shutdown in Brampton can just switch to Windsor - really out of touch.

I'm uncomfortable with the "Carney has a secret plan" argument. He ran on fighting back. Maybe that's unrealistic! If he can make the case that there's no way to fight back that doesn't hurt us more than it hurts the Americans and we just have to wait out the Trump presidency, I'd like him to say so

He sounds panicky these days. Is he panicking? I think he's panicking.
Pierre is just making friends and winning popularity contests everywhere these days. Should Trudeau have stepped down or been voted out for his scandals - absolutely. But that still says a lot about the quality of the opposition and none of it good.

As always, the danger in Trump's engagement in the Ukraine war is that he'll get fixated on something he fundamentally doesn't understand.

Thus far Zelensky has been far better than Putin in attracting Trump's interest. But maaaaaan it's a tough job.

In a post announcing that Trump will meet Putin in Budapest, the president writes:

"President Putin thanked the First Lady, Melania, for her involvement with children. He was very appreciative, and said that this will continue."

These are children who have veen *kidnapped by Russia.*

Examining year-over-year EI data. I knew Ontario was struggling, but I had no idea about the significant increase in EI beneficiaries in Quebec compared to last year.

Here's every EI region that experienced a 10% year increase in EI beneficiaries.
