people pirate most stuff when they're broke as shit and buy all they can when they're not, except for all the shit you can't see without piracy 'cause no one sells it. people pay when they have the cash and, increasingly, they have no cash. blame The End Of Mass Prosperity In The Imperial Core.
piracy discourse is so exhausting and passe, but i will observe that every truly great collector of physical media I know has a big harddrive of pirated books and movies. you literally cannot have one without the other

As you know two National Guardsmen were sadly shot in DC and are in critical condition. Kash Patel, a moron, gets up and speaks in the presser, vowing to seek and prosecute those responsible. But the lone gunman was shot. He's in custody. There are no other suspects. What a rube.

I wouldn't be shocked if Patel's FBI isn't already planting evidence to blame this on "The Seditious Six"

The idea that this tragedy is in any way connected to six democrats reminding soldiers of their responsibility to disobey illegal orders can only make sense to the MAGA mind.

National Guard members should never have been deployed in Washington, DC.

We are at an urgent tipping point. In the last few weeks, the Tech industry has launched a full-fledged attack on Americans' ability to rein in run away AI technology. It is absolutely crucial that we fight this tooth and nail for our children, and our children's children.

These two things are true:
1) Shooting National Guard members is horrific and criminal.
2) So is putting National Guard members in harm’s way to score political points.

When Democrats propose a bill limiting the President’s power to deploy National Guard troops on US soil they should name the act after the guardsmen who tragically lost their lives today because of Trump’s capricious decision to deploy them to DC for no good reason.

MAGA world is already going into overdrive trying to blame Democrats for the horrible shooting of two National Guard members in DC. These people are disgusting. They should take a moment to be human, mourn, and wait to learn what the hell happened.

For the love of all that is holy please be a fucking white guy who voted republican his entire life.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Two National Guard members have been shot in Washington, D.C., and their condition isn't known, AP source says.

And republicans are already blaming the "violent left" for the national guard shooting.

Fani Willis and Merrick Garland should have a special locked glass room somewhere in public where we can all go and jeer at them any time we want.

I mean, it's possible to say that the case was critically important and should have been brought to trial and also that Willis fucked the case up. It's not hard at all!

DA Fani Willis had a once-in-a-lifetime case, the most important of her career: a chance to criminally prosecute a lying president who tried to intimidate people into overturning the 2020 election.

She screwed up.

And now her replacement has killed it.

The Georgia prosecutor has dropped the charges against Trump and his co-conspirators who plotted to steal 11,780 votes in Georgia so he could overturn the 2020 election.
Peter Skandalakis appointed himself the prosecutor in the case after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was removed.

While I do not think Fani Willis committed a crime nor should she be prosecuted... she should never be able to eat comfortably in a restaurant ever again.
Judge Dismisses Georgia Election Interference Case Against Trump

The extremely poor judgment exercised by Fulton County DA Fani Willis in hiring a man she was dating as a Special Prosecutor to lead the case against Trump doomed the case.

No it didn't. Two things can be (and are) true.

It was a very poor management decision for Wiilis to hire someone she was dating. Her colleagues deserve to be pissed.

It also didn't prejudice Trump in any way and should have had no impact on his case.
