If I were a billionaire whose fortune in anyway was dependent on satellites, one of the few areas of govt research I'd encourage is taxpayer funded research into putting and maintaining satellites in orbit.

Maybe that's why i'm not a billionaire.

This strategy presumes that cops -- already prepped to side with ICE thugs -- won't side with their community another point after constantly bearing witness to ICE brutality.

And they may, but I don't think it's a given.

I imagine "some" NY firefighters oppose Cuomo, but somehow that doesn't seem to be a scoop.

I have a law review article that I frequently see cited for the prospect that "Many cases say X."

They always think no one is going to do the work of seeing that the next sentence is, "Others say the opposite."

In broader perspective, when a judge rules against someone, they want to explain the reasoning and logic to uphold faith in the system.

It's not helpful when the "precedent" is "SCOTUS just made it the rule and wouldn't say why."
