Seems like this is a scheme to justify masks and prosecute anyone who tries to ID ICE agents

Depending on specifics, offsite support might also include on-the-fly research for onsite friends purposely without smartphones:

- what’s going on where
- what’s being recommended by trusted experts
- transport logistics: directions to nearest subway stop, location of nearest allergy-safe food, etc

In this case, offsite support includes:

- being easily reachable (phone on, alerts high, etc)
- being able to easily reach an attorney 24/7: my dad NEVER declines my calls, even when he should!
- having a safe place for folks to crash if necessary
- being available to transfer urgently needed items

My plan—having taken stock of my physical, mental, & emotional health—is to recognize that a) there’s a reasonable likelihood of my presence at a protest doing more harm than good, & b) my presence specifically NOT at a protest is likely to do more good than my being there, & thus be offsite support

Because a big huge protest that is officially permitted is coming up everyone's arguing about it and my stance is always:
